But i would just like to encourage you guys to rise up as leaders.
Matthew 8:37 "The harvest truely is plentiful, but the labourers are few."
The harvest is the people of God and the labourers are the leaders which will guide the people.
The cg is multiplying and there would be a lack of leaders.
Why not we be God's labourer today and help in the harvest.
Lets take this bold step forward and really rise up and help the harvest yeah?

We're having our morning prayer meetings again! Are you guys excited?

YES I AM DEFINITELY VERY EXCITED! Because a cell group prays together stays together!

For the secondary school students who cannot make it for the morning prayer meetings because of school, fret not!

Hey guys!

Very soon, which is next week, we will be multiplying in 2 cellgroups and i dont know about you but i am quite excited about it.

Excited not because we're going to be seperated and not see some people ( but you know i love you all and it's true!), but excited because through we multiplication, new friendships will be bond, relationships will get closer, new people can enter our cellgroup and greater things will be done!

Even though starting a new cellgroup with maybe around17 to 18 people as pioneers might be a new thing to those who havent had a multiplication before, i believe through this new experience, we are able to learn something new, something valuable and have a new revelation of who God is!

It is through situations of valleys we learn to lean more to God and rely more on His strength by praying, and when we're at the mountains, we should not forget about God too!

So let's start praying for our multiplications from today onwards and carry a heart for our future cellgroup we're going to be in! Cause no matter which cellgroup we are in, what zone we are in, what church we are in, we are still in the kingdom of God amen?

Yup, even though we're multiplying, we shouldn't stop bringing in the friends! The harvest is still wide and plentiful. Let's bring the friends in, so when we multiply, they could be integrated into the new cg! :D

So let's be excited for multiplication week guys!

I'm here to update our quite but not quite stagnant blog. (HAHAHA) Idk what I'm talking bout. Oh well, it's okay.
Anyways, we just celebrated our church's 20th anniversary! Wooo~

Really feel very very honored to be part of this church! To serve such a great & awesome God with YOU PEOPLE! I believe God is gonna be faithful to us for the next 20 years and ahead! Because He has proven Himself to be faithful for the past 20 years. And He'll continue to do so. Amen! And also, what a privilege to be able to witness our 2oth anniversary at the Singapore Indoor Stadium(: I mean like how many people are queuing in the morning and we were able to get in!! Thank God for that! And how magnificent it was right!

Hellos W459! Actually i am not really sure why am i blogging! but yea, since i got the password from xyz might as well do something about it yea?!

So i was just reading this blog on quotes which shirley actually shared with me! i was rather impressed with it! So this blog its actually about life it self! Where this person shows different walks of life. Even though its just quotes but i felt that this qoutes are actually talking to me. Somehow or rather. So let me have the honour of actually sharing with you one of the quotes that i felt was really awesome!

"As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You’ll have your heart broken and you’ll break others’ hearts. So it pop to me about Jesus how he actually live life to the fullest. He did something where no man/woman on earth manage to do! He actually changed the world! Believe it or not! He did! He actually change the mindset of believers! Look at the Christians! We are actually trendy and smart. People can see the different on how we speak, we act. Cause Christ is living in US!

HEY W459 ! FIRST TIME I'M BLOGGING IN THIS BLOG !
Yeah, just want to share a few testimony !

YEAH, sorry, it may be a little long.

1) Haha, I believe most of you all heard of my testimony during the 1st cgm after SoS right? But maybe a few didn't came, but I still want to share !
Haha, I REALLY want to thank God for breakthrough in my life. I believe everyone knows there's one period of time I didn't came for service & cgm. i made many excuses like homeworks & mummy don't know, no choice. But yeah, as Rae preach the previous cgm,
THERE'S NOTHING SUCH AS NO CHOICE! is whether we want to or don't want to.
yeah, God gave us freedom, choices to make, but at times we abused it, and of course we have to pay for our own actions, but now, we don't have too! Cause the blood of Jesus have wash us clean.
Yeah, so at that point of my life, I really wanted to backslide, I was really stuck between a lot of things, my ex, my mother, my school, Church & everything. I believe one someone is down, we will most likely think negatively of stuffs right? At the beginning, I was really thinking to backslide. But when I seek God in prayer, reading the Book of Life, I really felt, Backsliding is not the way to clear things. At that point of time, I decided not to backslide, and mostly because God spoke to me. Even if we backslide, God is not the one losing out, but we are the one losing out. Remember our first love, when we truly accepted Salvation, Jesus lifted up all our burdens, our troubles, by backsliding, not only do we have to carry our burdens, we 're even adding to it even more. So I really want to thank God for Strength during that time of downness(if thats how we call it) ,
& thank God for holding on tight on me. Without him, there'll not be any Salvation. Jesus is the truth, the light the way, our Salvation. Without him, I wouldn't be who I'm now, Amen!
& the bible says we can do all things through our Saviour, Lord Jesus . (:

2) I want to thank God for opportunities. I believe many of us know that I was the chairman of my class, & I'm always given responsibilities to do, and of course ,I always do it to my best of my abilities. Therefore, I was always praise by my Form teachers, and always prayed to serve the God in my school, to go to a higher level, but unfortunately, I didn't get norminated to be in Student Council EXCO, but I wasn't dishearted. But I thank God for another opportunity to shine in my CCA. In band, it is not common for sec 2 to get to be in committee and given a role to play. But I really thank God for giving a opportunity to be DECORATION HEAD to shine in my God given talent, art! YAY ! Is like only 4 sec 2 out of 25+ sec 2s who got a role of a head. Though is not like a very major role, but I'm really very proud of myself! & I really start to believe JieYing that I really have leadership qualities in me. Now not only My form teachers who sees the leader in me, even my CCA teachers see it! I believe is not by chance that I'm given the role of a Deco Head, but God really sees the desires in me to serve.

I remember a few days back when my math teacher sms me during one day, trying to joke with me for being accident prune, he suddenly talk about leaders, like Pastor Tan, who goes to his church every Wednesday to talk about leaders as he is also a leader in his church, he said Pastor Tan is really a humble servant of God, not being arrogant for being a deputy pastor in our church, being so high up there, above many people. Then I said, "yeah", then he said is not about how high are we, but being faithful in the things that God places before us, leaders or not, we serve God, and God alone. I replied him, Truly, is not about how high we're, but how much we love God. I want to serve Jesus. Thats why I want to bring friends to Christ from our school.
Serving our Abba Father is not because how we want to go above the people, but because we love Jesus, how we want to exalt His Name, being faithful to Him, how we want to bring our love ones & friends to the kingdom of God. & most probably I influence people in my class the most, he told me I've the leader in me, Work on my class.
& truly, my class, the school, is my Judea and Sumaria. I really want to thank God for giving me such a GREAT opportunity in my class & in my CCA in terms of leadership qualities and skills, though I don't set a good example for my class in my attire(only my socks!).

Haha, yeah. Hope it won't be too hard to understand, cause my english very ~~bad~~. Yeah, I shall not confess it. HAHA, yeah, CGM WAS AWESOME TODAY!

Like God speaking to me!

God is like saying to me 'I can hear your prayers, your burdens I will bear!'
How awesome isn't it? God DOES hear us! And He'll bear our burdens.
Sometimes when God don't answer your prayer you must be thinking, 'hey, God didn't hear my prayer!'

But friends no no! God hears each and everyone of you!
And also the bible says cast all your cares upon the Lord for He cares!

We got to learn how to release everything to God before He can take our hand and lead us! If we choose not to stretch out our hands, then how can He hold it? And how can we walk into eternity with Him?

Let's not live in spiritual depression ya!
Step out and reach out!

It's just a simple revelation to share!

A Life Of Conviction!

HI GUYS!! MY FIRST TIME BLOGGING!! okok enough... this is gonna be a long one, so bear with me! :)

anw Im here today to share with u guys a great experience i just had with GOD!

alright. actually i almost couldn't go for the previous CGM (last sunday) as i couldn't catch up with my school work and revision. but i persuaded my mums to let me go for CG! so yeah, i went to CG with the usual Boon attitude.. ><

RAE shared a message about living a life of conviction ( Matt 19:3-8 )..
We were saved by Christ, but after we're saved, whats our purpose?
Well, it is to display God's GLORY with us whereever we go!
And this Glory that we present to people has to come from our strong conviction in Christ!

This impacted me when i thought about what i had glorified God with.. but couldn't find one..

It made me feel so heartbroken, that i was a child of God, yet not displaying God's glory and victory in my own life.

Thus, i made a commitment to God that i'll shine in my studies and the different aspects in my life!

Well, Rae told us that we had to sometimes sacrifice some of our play time, leisure time or relaxation for our convictions.

This caught me (like seriously!) at that moment, and God reminded me that i have not fulfiled my studying time bcos of the slacking, which in turn made my mum have no choice to tell me that i should stop going CGM until after im doing better. in the end giving the "excuse" that i have no choice but to stay home and study.

But there's no such thing as "no choice"!

2 Cor 4:8-9 - " We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed " -

We all have choices, i had a choice to slack when i was supposed to study, or to study when i was supposed to.
Therefore, i realised i had to sacrifice my slacking time so that i would not lag behind in my studies, and i could go service and CGM! WoOts!

ANd when i do well academically, I would be able to impact the people in my life, just like how Daniel impacted his world!
I thank God for his Remah word to me! it has made me really change on my perception of studying and making my conviction in the Lord grow stronger!

Through this, i believe i really have grown another level in my understanding of God's purpose of placing us at where we are at the moment.

"Where we are now, is God's plan for us to glorify him at that place!"
REMEMBER THIS SENTENCE IF U CAN ONLY REMEMBER ONE SENTENCE OUT OF THIS WHOLE POST! :D

SO! lets all strive together to bring God's light into this fallen world and be the NaCl* and light in our world!

I'm here to share a revelation and vision God showed me during the overnight prayer meeting recently. :D

I believe all of you have heard the story of Peter walking on water before.
If you dont know, read the following verses :D

Matthew 14:25-31 (New King James Version)
25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.

29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”
31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

You know guys, actually today we're not those who are on the boat not willing to step out and reach Jesus, we are actually like Peter, having courage, stepping out of our comfort zone, not afraid, being a christian, knowing Jesus is there for us, reaching towards Jesus' direction, wanting to reach Him to get a fresh new touch once again. We are people who are walking on water already.

But you know in verse 30, Paul got afraid when the wind got bigger and bigger and he started to sink down the water.
Sometimes, we're in this situation, where something just comes up out of nowhere, which started to hinder our walk towards Jesus. This thing that is hindering our walk towards Jesus might be relationships with friends in church, relationships with other people, studies, parental objection, work, words of discouragement, persecution, lazyness to do quiet time, and many other bad habits that you are having, and we began to sink down in this walk, and stop walking forward to seek Jesus just like Peter in this story.

But friends, when you know there is hindering in your walk towards Jesus, are you willing to save yourself by calling out? Or do you want to continue to sink down the water? Are you shouting "Lord, SAVE MEEEE!!???? i dont want to sink down!!!!" just like Peter in this story?

You know, as long as you're willing, Jesus is willing to come and reach out and catch you just like verse 31!

In V31, Jesus stretched out to save Peter and said "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" Guys, what are you doubting now, what is hindering you from reaching to Jesus? What is hindering you to a closer relationship with Jesus today?

Let's be like Peter, willing to call out to Jesus for help and let not the wind hinder us anymore and walk towards Jesus for a closer relationship! Let's put down everything that's stooping us ad progress on, like what Pst Zhuang shared in the decentralise service when we want to return to our vision, Return back to God's presence, cling on to your hope in God and LET GO OF OUR PAST(our past bad habits)! Let go!

This verse is encouraging to me and i believe it will be to you guys too! :D

HELLLLLLLO AWESOME & COOL PEOPLE!

I'm here to share a testimony! And I hope you'll be TREMENDOUSLY blessed yeah!

Last Saturday during service, during offering time, pastor challenged us to give. And I have 7 bucks with me and a few coins. So I was looking at my $2 note and $5 note. So tempted to give my $2 note, but in the end gave my $5 note instead. And I told myself 'God will bless me back! Amen!'

God loves a cheerful giver and so I smiled and I gave.

Shared dinner with Gw at KFC.

Here comes Sunday,
I went to give tuition and guess what? My mommy's friend blessed me with $10!
Really thank God for that. Thought my blessing would stop there. But I was wrong wrong wrong!

Headed to airport to fetch Edwin!

Welcome back to Singapore Edwin!

And cause he touched down quite late and then they (Edwin & Rae) blessed me with $20 to take a cab home.

So just on Sunday, I received a total blessing of $30. Which is 6 times of what I've given the day before! Praise the Lord!

Alright, so after spending everything I was left with TWO $5 NOTE.
2 only ah.

So the next day, which was Monday, I went to meet Weisiang, Xinying & Jingying.
So I spent my first $5 at Macs on a student meal. By right I should have 1 $5 note left right?

But when I decided to bless Xinying with a double cheeseburger, I took out my $5 note, I found that I have TWO $5 note!!

So that means on Monday, I had THREE $5 note.
Two became three. Awesome or what?

And I was like stunned.

God. multiplied. my. money!

On Saturday I decided to give God more because I have faith that He'll bless me back. And He really did! 6 times! And on top of that, He did a miracle by multiplying my money!

God heard my prayer :)

Jasmin is so blessed! Hope you are too!

Because when you have faith and give to God, He'll definitely not shortchange you. I can totally guarantee that! Look at my testimony and you'll know! ;)

long time since i've blog on the CG blog, guess who i am. guess guess guess!!!

SO just to update on what happening recently!

We had our YOUTH CAMP, INSPIRE FAITH!
I believe those who went for this camp, did came out inspire, and now guys! I know camp is like over for maybe like 2 weeks, please continue to keep that fire going okay? Those who aspire to be a CGL and responded to the alter call, continue to hold on to that vision! Many are called, but few are chosen. So guys! let's be the chosen one, WE ARE THE NEXT GENERATION to spark off a revival! amen?!

We had our Celebrity Weekend WHICH IS LIKE AWESOMEEEEE~ FIR, LIU GENG HONG, VIVI WANG, MILK (NIU NAI), OU DE YANG, VANESS AND MORE. AWESOME~

I SHOOK FIR'S HAND, WOOOHOOO. (okay, you will cfm know who i am now.) HAHA.

ANYWAY, actually im here to share a mini revelation! hahaha!
I was playing this game on facebook and suddenly this popped to me.
you know the marble that change here and there and you must find it?

yeah, so this game was irritating, cause it made my eyes went a little bit tired. haha. To be able to find the marble that is hidden under the cup, we must really focus on that one cup that's spinning around alot, similarly, it's just like our walk with God.

Whenever we want to find or hear God, God is somewhere around but He will not directly stand in front of us and say "Hi, I'm here.", yes sometimes you will get frustrated and give up because you can't find Him, but you know, there's only one thing we should do, other then getting frustrated.

The answer is just like this game, FOCUS. Whenever we lose our focus, we won't be able to find or hear what God wants us to do. Focus on God and hear what He wants us to do today. If we do not focus and just give up, we will definitely lose the game.

So guys, Let's focus on God today and do not lose our Focus!

Hey W459!

Here to share a simple revelation I've caught this morning.

I was talking to my sister about the swine flu and she started saying that only those immune system's not strong enough will be infected by it. Actually not only swine flu, but all kind of virus.
And I proceed on to ask her how to boost our immune system. And she said we must eat healthily, eat more vege(those who don't eat vege, better start eating them nowww!!) and take suppliments.

(And how my sister know about all these? Because she's a bio and f&n student. So information is quite reliable.)

So we were talking about our physical body this morning.

And we can also relate this to our spiritual immune system.
Is your immune system strong today? If an epedemic comes, will you be able to still be healthy and not fall sick?

So it's very important to build up our physical and spiritual immune system.
We can consume vege, eat a healthy diet and take suppliments.
So in order to be strong spiritually, we'll have to pray, read the word of God and apply it in our lives.

So my dearest friends, do start today to build up strong immune system so that whatever nonsense virus comes and tries to attack you, you'll not give way and will still be able to stay healthy!

And to our dearest students who are gonna take their O levels chinese paper on Monday,

All the best! Do not have to worry for God is with you and His wisdom will be upon you so that you'll be able to understand the passage and questions. Jia you my dear friends! Shine for God! :D Remember, there's power in confession. Confess now that you'll be able to do well!

HEY GUYS.

I'm here to share my testimony first cause i cannot make it for cgm this week. :'(
ANYWAY, yup, here i am, i know you guys will miss me la, i know, dont miss me too much! :D

I got 2 testimonies!

1) Recently i have some problems in school, and was abit upset and down, then on Tuesday night, there was leader's meeting at Jurong West, i had work that night but i realise 4hours worth of pay isn't that much compared to receiving a fresh new revelation that can change my attitude and everything, so i rejected work, and went for meeting.

God spoke to me during the meeting and told me to do that particular thing to solve that problem in school and i struggled a little but God continued and said, follow me in obedience and nothing will go wrong. Thus after that night, i managed to solve that particular problem in school and now i guess everything's alright, so PRAISE THE LORD, God is indeed faithful whenever we follow him in obedience! Trust in Him and He will never shortchange you guys! :D

2) Another thing, I Thank God for opportunities to serve Him more. I thank God for BeeLeng(CGL) for giving me a chance to lead Praise & Worship during SP/NP VIBEZ meeting yesterday which was actually my first time. & also, Praise God that the leaders in WYZ gave me a chance to sing as a BV in Inspire camp. yup yup.
PRAISE THE LORD.

Hi guys, didn't share it ytd because i didn't realise it till today. i can't wait to share!

1)So, i wanna thank God for protecting Singapore from H1N1.

As last,last week was mother's day, so i couldn't go for CGM as i was going to eat lunch with my family. On last, last, sat morning, jie ying asked if i could go for make up cell, but i was serving. So i couldn't make it. My duty was suppose to help take temperature for the people, but when i reach church they say don need to take already cos the (colour alert) change from red to yellow. so PRAISE THE LORD! i can go for the make up cell grp meeting, & i went!

2) Thank God for favor of man. As i failed my chinese paper 2 for mid year , my friend borrowed me her assessment book for me to practice. The thing is, she had to erase all the answers she had wrote and borrowed it to me. Praise the Lord, as i really prayed hard that i wanna get at least an A for my chinese!

3) Also praise the Lord i can go for the Youth Camp, God see the desire of our hearts! i was hoping with all my heart that i will not have any school programmes on the second week of june hoilidays. So the time table came out and i only have to go back to school on the first and last week of the month only! yay!

When I first listened to this song, I was touched.

Every single lyrics that I read was speaking about the chellenges that we face when we want to achieve the dream that we have.

Life is like a mountain! You do not know what is on the other side and the journey to climb over the mountain is dangerous, steep and also very risky. But no matter what, don't give up and always keep on keeping on! Sometimes the challenges that come our way may be tough and difficult to handle but don' tlose faith as God is always behind us, pushing us forward!

It is like running for a marathon - you train hard for the marathon and there might be thoughts that come to you saying you cannot do it, just give up! But you keep trying and training till the day comes when it is the marathon and when you reach the finishing line, it is quite true that we don't think that we have finished the race but actually we think back on how we have train hard and not giving up half way for this marathon.

It is what Pastor Kong also said:

So hope that this song encourages all of you and including those who are having exams!!

Hi guys! I'm back from my short trip to M'sia.
Refreshed, recharged and ready to chiong for Easter!

So on my way up to Genting, I was watching a korean movie.
I wasn't quite sure what happened in the beginning because I started to watch it somewhere in the middle.

The movie was about this grandma who lived in the countryside all her life. And her grandson from Seoul went to visit her. Or rather was being forced to visit her. He brought along all his toys and was not used to the rural area.

The grandma was a mute.

The boy bullied his grandma, calling her retarded and all sorts of mean stuff.
Despite being bullied, grandma still gave him the best. Best food, gave him the thik blanket and she herself uses the thin one so that he wouldn't catch a cold at night, saved every single cent in order to buy what the grandson wanted.

Grandson wanted to eat KFC, but grandma didn't know what was KFC so she bought him chicken. She went out in the day to earn money by selling stuff that she grew on her own and then came back with a chicken. It was raining cats and dogs on her way back. She braved the storm. And mind you the distance from the bus stop to her house wasn't very near and there was no shelter and she did not have any umbrella with her. She steamed the chicken. But grandson wanted it fried. And he threw the bowl of rice on the floor. Precious grains of rice grandma could actually feed herself but she chose to give it to her grandson. And she even gave him the WHOLE chicken.

All day long, grandson only know how to play his gameboy. And one day, it died on him. So he needed batteries. He couldn't find any because people living in the countryside didn't actally use electronic gadgets. However grandma saw that he needed money to buy batteries so she worked even harder in order to get money for him to buy batteries for his gameboy. She sacrificed yet again and felt that it was all worth it because it would make her grandson happy.

And that made him realised that his grandma has really sacrificed a lot, and he started appreciating her. But he was gonna go back to Seoul.

So I feel that we should learn to be appreciative. Appreciate people. Because even though we may not get the best, but we should know that the people around us are giving us their best. So we should not take it for granted.

And also, God is like the grandma in the movie. He gives us the best that He can give but yet sometimes we can be so unappreciative and even take it for granted. So I guess we all need to come to a point of life whereby He's willing to sacrifice in order to give us the money to buy the batteries for our gadget in order to truly comprehend the unconditional love He have for each and everyone of us.

And the batteries that He have given to us is His one and only son, Jesus.

Jesus died on the cross so that we can live again.

Dearest brothers and sisters, this season, we should be thankful. And of course go forth and invite friends and pray that they'll personally enounter the 'grandma worked even harder in order to buy grandson batteries for his gameboy' moment this Easter. So that in heaven, we can all rejoice and be thankful together.

haha.Alright.I wanted to blog because for those of you who don't know or forgot, TODAY IS JEREMIAH TAN YONG BOON AND SHANKARI FAITH's(i'm not giving my surname:p) 2ND BIRTHDAY! YAY! *happy birthday to us,happy birthday to us,happy birthday to us!* Okay, incase some people don't get it when i say its our 2nd birthday, i mean that we both got baptised in the Holy Spirit on the same date last year. So its my 2nd birthday. :D

I would like to share how i feel when and after i got baptised. Okay, when Rae told the cellgroup that there was going to be a baptism session, i got all excited because i've been wanting to get baptised for very long. Since i came from a superstiticious Tamil Church, i was told that i only can baptise if i was 14 and above. Sad,right. so i had to wait for 1 year before i started attending the Youth Service in CHC. Okay, back to point. So after getting excited, i gave my mom a call and asked her if i could be baptised. And PRAISE THE LORD! She gave me an immediate yes.:D

So i got baptised on 29/March/2008. After my baptism, i really felt like i was all washed and very clean. I knew i wasn't the same person i was before entering the baptism pool. God really transformed my life. And yes, its been always one of the best decisions i've ever taken in my life. Friends, i really encourage you to be baptised if you have not been baptised yet. I can promise you that you will say goodbye to the 'old' you and welcome the 'new' you. Lets pray for our parents to be opened if they aren't letting you get baptised. I hope and pray that all of our lives be transformed. And you know what..I want to get baptised again! haha. It that fun,okay..haha. but not the eating salt part. so salty.. ;) haha. alright,peeps. hope you guys are impacted by my tiny weeny sharing. Hope to share more with you guys...CIAO!
P/S Kindly remember the 19th of June because thats my 1st birthday.*hints* I welcome all presents and wishes. Thank you for your attention.

Hey guys! Here to blog about my revelation.
Basically on thursday morning, I had a weird dream.

I dream that my dad is alive but yet having heart problem. At home is install the check heart beat machine which I don't know what is it call. So every day looking at him, lying on the bed heart is aching but yet doing nothing...
Day by day as time fly, i heard the "TI" sound which the machine made and i quickly ran to my father's side, praying to God not to bring my father away and begging my father not to leave me here! But the last sentence my dad said was "You didn't even talk to me for the past 10 days."

And so I was waken up by my brother cause I woke up 30mins late then the usual time I wake up for school. I see my phone why the alarm didn't ring. When i see my phone, my phone was hanging[lag til cannot lag that kind] just nice when its going to ring.
When showering, kept thinking about the dream and i got a revelation from it.
I think that it is God Who stop my phone from ringing and gave me this revelation.

God was trying to tell me to start praying and start to reach out to the lost and not trying to do any last minute praying and reaching out cause when you last minute reach out to a person, sometimes, they would think that they are not important or you don't take the matter seriously.
Sometimes they would even think that you are being force to invite friends and so on. Many thoughts will be in their head if its last minute reach out.

-Tomorrow is i-ming cell group.[1 more day!]
-Next saturday service.[7 more days!]
-Next sunday drama cell group[8 more days!]
-Next 2 weeks (10-12april) EASTER DRAMA![13 more days!]

Lets start inviting our family and friends for all the events!
Don't think that 13days is very long, but actually is very short, it maybe a blink of eyes and "POOFED" there come Easter? Lets wait no more and start reaching outs to your loves one!
We don't know what will happen next? If you have reach out to them and come to know Christ, you maybe the most thankful person in their lives!
What if you doesn't reach out to a really lost soul? A person who can't feel love and care? Looking at many of the people being so happy together, what will their mind filled with? Mostly is negative thoughts. Nobody knows what will happen next right?
Lets us start praying for friends and family, start caring for them, show them encouragement.
By doing little little stuff, you may impat their live! (:

I'm here to share a verse @ 2.49am. hahaha.

okay, i was reading the bible and than i came across with this verse.

2 Samuel 17 : 28 - 29
28 brought beds and basins, earthen vessels and wheat, barley and flour, parched grain and beans, lentils and parched seeds.
29 honey and curds, sheep and cheese of the herd, for David and the people who were with him to eat. For they said, "The people are hungry and weary and thirsty in the wilderness.

I believe when all of here are hungry, we will become hungry and feel restless or don't even want to do any thing and dont have motivation to do anything. At least i believe some of my friends will. haha.

Just like in this verse, David was with his men to fight a war, and they were hungry because they had no food to eat. At this situation, they will definitely have no motivation to continue fighting and in the end they will definitely lose the war.

It is alike in times when we are facing a difficult situation in our lives. When we are facing a difficult situation in life where you feel like you cannot go anywhere and the next step is a dead end. Without God, without His words, without Him speaking to us giving a new revelation, we will definitely feel like, "sian.. how to deal with this".

SO, what should you do when you're facing a situation in life when you cannot solve?

In the above verse i typed out, when David's men were hungy, he fed them with the best food, best treatment and everything to serve the men who was restless from fighting. Why did David did that? Of course, to stop them from being restless, tired and to regain their energy.

& That is what we should do too! When we're facing a difficult situation in life, we should feed ourselves with food (praying to God, reading God's word, listen to God). We should concentrate ourselves on God's words instead of starving ourselves.

So guys, stop starving yourself and start treating yourselves with the best treatment (praying to God, Listening to God) and treating yourselves with the best food (bible reading) today to bring you through another war (difficult situation, or just another day)!

I am currently reading this book by John Bevere - Drawing Near

I like what he wrote in Chapter 1: The Greatest Invitation of All Times

James 4:8
"Draw near to God and He will draw near to You"

God has given to each and every single one of us the greatest invitation of all times. That is being able to fellowship with Him, to draw near to Him.

Pastor Ming shared with us on the very first day of the prayer meeting (9/2/09).
We're in the hand of God, but if we wanna walk away for the hand of God, God 's hand will not follow us. It is up to us, whether we want to stay in God's hand or walk away. It's our choice.

'It seems to be God's pattern to make a step toward us, and if we respond, He takes another and draws close. If we don't respond He does not push His way in, or cut in on our dance per se.'

Let's all have the heart of Mary.
Far too often we're just like Martha, doing and doing, serving and serving, going through the motions and missing out on the God moments.
Let's just stop for a moment, stop to enjoy spending time with Him. Because God's invitation is so very precious, you don't want to miss it..

ANG BAO HUNT

30 Jan 2009 was the day that we had our "Ang Bao Hunt" at NTU! Before the whole hunt started, Rae and the CGCs met earlier to prepare for the hunt.

W459 members and new friends soon arrived and we started the hunt by splitting them into 2 groups.

Team A - Isaac, Valerie, Dylan, Daniel Ang, Daniel Lit, Christina and Charmaine
Team B - Jasmin, Joshua, Pinde, Cheehong, Shimin, Wenxin, Jingying and Denise
Game Station Masters - Rae, Xinying & Gouwei

The hunt started off by peeling and eating 3 Mandarin oranges. Before entering any 6 territories to find the angbaos placed there, each group have to peel an orange and eat it and in every territories, only 3 people are allowed to search for the angbaos.

In total, each group had to search for 26 angbaos. They had to:
- use 4 angbaos to form "恭" "喜" "发" "财"
- use 12 angbaos to put the animals in the zodiac order
- use 6 angbaos to form a picture
- & the last 4 angbaos, to fulfill the task required in them, example e.g. frog jump 50meters

After running under the sun for about an hour, the groups finally ended their hunt with team B winning an angbao of $20!

I believed those who went for this hunt had a enjoyable time!

I've got a revelation and I must share.

This morning I was taking bus 5 to work. And I told God, if I can get into SAJC, then bus 5 will come before 8.30am. I will take the earlier bus to work.

Lo and behold, I took the earlier bus to work. I reached the bus stop at 8.18am. I took 65 at 8.10am. Considering the fact that it always have traffic jams at the junction. That's where I always miss my bus 5.

When I was still in awe, it got to me why we have to change buses.
We change bus because we want to get to our destination.
(You must be thinking 'duhhhhhh if not what? change bus for fun?')

I failed to realise this whenever I go to work or to anywhere.

Are we heading to the correct destination in life?
Is God prompting you to get down the bus you're in and board another bus?

If you are on the wrong bus, don't ever think that you gotta save money and continue staying on the bus.

By going to the wrong destination,
1. you'll be late.
2. You've wasted your time traveling.
3. You gotta take another transport to your original destination which was planned.
You'll also miss out on certain things. Some maybe really important you may not know.
4. You'll miss out on the calling of God in Your life.
The consequences will be too much for you to bear. Think twice.

It's totally not worth it.

Because we only have one life.
Live it well.

Jasmin, the video is amazing too. Haha. I didn't realize how touching the video is until today when I re-look at it. I agree with Boon...I almost cried (and Isaac...we're not emo-ing ;p). Haha. The CG has really went through alot since we started and I'm so glad we have grown stronger. Through enough, Job 8:7 - Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly.

Having said that, dearest W459, I want to thank all of you for starting 2009 with a great big BANG! =) For your information, W459 has a total of 30 people for the service attendance last weekend! *Screamz!* You guys are awesome!

HELLO EVERYONE!

ASIA CONFERENCE has ended, and i believe many of us had learned many things during this conference and congrats to those who had a breakthrough and had many new revelations. woots~

This conference had taught us alot on how to go into the marketplace, being an insulator in the marketplace so as to penetrate the marketplace. all the msgs were good and NOW IS THE TIME for us to apply it!

HOW?
CHRISTMAS IS COMING! IT'S TIME TO APPLY WHAT WE HAD LEARNED and bring our friends along to the House of God.

Let's use what Pst Phil Pringles & Pst Kong & Dr A.R. Benard had taught us to bring friends. Let's use Pst Benny Hinn's msg to lead people into salvation. Let's bring revival to Asia just like what Pst Phil Pringles had said!

At the last part of the conference, they played a song "friends" or something, aha! so dont worry about reaching out to friends and worrying about you being alone, BECAUSE THIS WALK IS NEVER LONELY, there's Jesus, God walking along with you and most importantly, W459 too! :D

Now that we are transform, LET'S GO OUT TO TRANSFORM THE PLACE! (MARKETPLACE) let's not stay in the 1st space and dwell only in there, but go into the 2nd space and bring what we had learn in the 1st space to transform the marketplace, and if we have favour, we will be bought up to the 3rd place where we have authority to change the higher class people which will impact the world!

quite long ago one, but ya. (:

Our life is like a table tennis match.
If you got watch Olympics, imagine that scenario.
Imagine you're Lee Jia Wei, you will definitely need a coach, (Liu Guo Dong) to guide you to the road of success, and to win the game. Whenever we hit the ball, it determines the steps we take to win the game and our coach will always be there by our side guiding us along.

Similarly, God is like our coach. There will definitely be times when you’re losing and you felt like giving up because there is no way to win the game. But no matter what, God is always there, being so faithful, being so patient with you guiding you along to led you to win the game.
Whenever there are like breaks halfway during the game, your coach will talk to you and encourage you and the breaks are like your quiet time with God! During your quiet time, God will talk to you and prompt you in your heart.

In Psalm 17:6. It says “I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer.” Listen for God’s voice because He knows that you needs Him and He wants you follow after Him and win.

You can choose whether to listen to Him or not. Like in the game, if you listen carefully to your coach, and follows what He wants you to do, you will make a progress and not stay stagnant. But if you do not listen to Him like have that kind of “don’t care” attitude, you will confirm lose the game.

2 Timothy 2:13
If we are faithless,
He will remain faithful,
For he cannot disown himself

Our Father in heaven, no matter what, even when we are losing badly in the game, no matter what turning point we are at, He WILL always be with us, guiding us so faithfully, showing us the right way because He cannot stop Himself from being so faithful to us. Even though we might have lost our faith in Him, He will never lose faith in us. Our God is an awesome God, because He never stops showing His love to us.

Hebrews 12:2
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross……

Our God is our author, so let us set our eyes on Him, to play this match a better one, with our coach, our heavenly Father and together with Him, we will win this match and give Him glory.

So let's play our game properly and listen to God's calling!
